Char Dham Yatra is a sacred hindu pilgrimage which takes you to the four high altitude shrines in the Indian Himalayas covering Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri.
Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar
Welcome Drink & and formal introduction with group leader. Later embark on your journey towards holy Chardham yatra. En route stop for a delicious lunch at a pre designated restaurant. Continue your drive to Haridwar. On arrival check-into the hotel and proceed for Evening Aarti at Har ki Paudi. Dinner and Overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Haridwar – Janakichatti
Wake up call and take a stroll towards har ki paudi to take holy dip into river Ganga to start the holy yatra. Return to hotel for breakfast and later leave for journey to first of your Dham, Yamunotri. Yamuna is the daughter of Surya (the Sun God) and she is the twin sister of Yama (the God of Death). It is believed that anyone who bathes in her river will be spared the agony of Yamloka(the netherworld). Enroute lunch at Midway restaurant. Evening tea & Snacks break at Barkot and then continue the drive to our final overnight destination Janakichatti. Bonfire, Dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 03: Janakichatti – Yamunotri – Janakichatti
Early morning proceed with your packed breakfast / fruits for trek to Yamunotri. Return in time for Lunch at Janakichatti. Rest of the afternoon at leisure. Evening Folk Cultural Programme, bonfire. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Janakichatti – Uttarkashi
After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi which means Banaras/ Kashi of north. Take a stopover at Brahamkhal and Dharasu band. Later reach Uttarkashi in time for Lunch. Rest of the afternoon and evening at leisure. Early Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Early morning after a light breakfast proceed for Gangotri. Take a stopover at Gangnani, hot water spring, later continue for Gangotri temple. Post Puja, lunch at Gangotri. Later leave for Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay. Gangotri – the origin and seat of the River Ganga. It is one of the four sites in the Char Dham circuit. The river is called Bhagirathi at the source and acquires the name Ganga (Ganges) from Devprayag onwards where it meets the Alaknanda. The origin of the holy river is at Gaumukh is a 19 km trek from Gangotri.
Day 06: Uttarkashi – Sitapur
After breakfast leave for special Jalabhishek at Kashi Vishwanath temple before leaving for Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Stopover for lunch at Chamba. Continue drive to Sitapur. Dinner & Overnight stay.
Day 07: Sitapur – Gaurikund – Kedarnath
After Early breakfast proceed to Gaurikund with packed lunch to start your trek for Kedarnath. Overnight stay at Kedarnath. Travelling Distance & Time – 32Kms +14kms trek / 09 Hrs
Day 08: Kedarnath – Rudraprayag
Early morning after breakfast proceed to Gaurikund (trekking down) to continue your journey to Rudraprayag. Stopover at Sitapur for lunch. Overnight at Rudraprayag. The entire region is blessed with immense natural beauty, places of religious importance, lakes and glaciers.
Day 09: Rudraprayag – Badrinath
After breakfast at hotel drive for Badrinath. Evening Darshan & Pooja at Badrinath temple. Overnight stay at Badrinath hotel
Day 10: Badrinath – Birhi
After breakfast leisurely drive towards Birhi. On arrival check-into the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11: Birhi – Rishikesh
After breakfast drive to Rishikesh – located in the foothills of the Himalaya and attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists every year. Rishikesh is known for its religious, spiritual as well as adventure activities.
Day 12: Rishikesh – Delhi
After breakfast drive to New Delhi and get transferred to airport / railway station for onward destination journey.
