DAY 1: ARRIVE GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK (250km / 3h 30 min)

Meet and assist by our representative at the Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. Evening free for leisure or explore the local market if time permits. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

DAY 2: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

Early morning explore any one zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of Elephant i.e. ELEPHANT SAFARI (Optional: Unless it is mentioned in the inclusion). Get up early morning at 5.30AM and start for both central range ‘Kohora’ and western range ‘Bagori’. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants and if you are lucky then tiger also. At 6:30 AM return to the hotel / resort for Breakfast & take little rest.

Afternoon around 01.45 PM you have JEEP SAFARI in Central range. Kaziranga National Park, has become synonymous with successful conservations of Great One Horn Rhinoceros / Unicornis and also a home of many other threatened species including Indian Elephant, Tiger, Hoolock GibbonGanges dolphin, SambarBarasingha or Swamp DeerHog Deer, Indian MuntjacWater Buffalo and Gaur etc. Among the reptiles’ species like Water Monitor Lizard, Indian python, Cobra and the King Cobra are found. Return back to resort / hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga.

DAY 3: KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – NAMERI (99 kms / 2.5 hrs)

After Breakfast, transfer to Nameri. On the way to Nameri you will be visiting Tezpur. Tezpur is the city of blood and has a magnificent scenic beauty boasting of Art, Culture & Literature. Visit the Bamuni Hills, The Hazara Pukhmi. Cole Park & Agnigarh (if time permits). Overnight in Nameri.

DAY 4: NAMERI NATIONAL PARK:

Before breakfast you will be taken for trekking by crossing Jai Bharoli River by local boat, walk around 1 kms on the sandbar and reach forest range with a forest guard. Forest trekking will start till the watch tower. Relax on the watch tower for any hour and enjoy the birds, butterflies and animals of the forest. Return back to the resort and have your breakfast. Later you can go for rafting in Jia Bhorali (optional). Nameri National Park: The Nameri National Park of 200 sq kms area is located in the Sonitpur district, bordering Arunachal Pradesh and it is also the core area of Nameri Tiger Reserve (344sq kms). It is the home of  Mammals like Elephant, Tiger, leopard, Sambar, Barking deer, Hog Deer, Wild Boar, Gaur, Slow Loris, Gaplangur, Burmese ferret badger, and over 350 species of birds including White-winged Wood Duck, Ibis bill (uncommon), Ruddy Kingfisher, Palla’s fishing eagle, Lesser Adjutant stork , Greater spotted eagle, Rufous necked hornbill, Great pied Indian hornbill, Wreathed hornbill, Long-billed Ringed Plover, Sultan Tit, and Yellow-bellied and White-throated Fantails. Another important wild life sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh. Enjoy rafting in the Jia Bhorali River in the south western boundary. Overnight at Nameri.

DAY 5: NAMERI – SHILLONG (Approx 330 kms / 7 hrs)

After Breakfast, check out hotel and then drive to Shillong. The ‘Gleneagles of the East’ lies in the centre of a plateau surrounded by Khasi hills.  En-route visit UMIUM LAKE BARAPANI PARK. Evening visit famous Police Bazaar (PB) of Shillong of your own. Overnight at Shillong.

DAY 6: SHILLONG

After Breakfast, full day sightseeing of Shillong. The ‘Gleneagles of the East’ lies in the centre of a plateau surrounded by Khasi hills. The gorgeous city offers amazing tourist spots.

Enroute sightseeing includes: Don Bosco Museum of Indigenous Culture, Ward’s Lake, Botanical Garden, Lady Hydari Park, Golf Course, Elephant Falls, Shillong Peak. Later come back to hotel. Overnight in Shillong.

DAY 7: SHILLONG – GUWAHATI (150km / 2h 30min)

After Breakfast, come back to Guwahati. Guwahati, the Capital city of Assam and Gateway of Northeast, it is the Central business region of Northeast. Pay your obeisance at the numerous Temples – Maa Kamakhya Temple. Sukreshwar Temple. Umananda Temple. Navagraha Temple, Bashistha Ashram. Tirupathi Balaji Temple, and many more…Guwahati is the commercial capital city of the North East. ‘The Light of the East’ lies adjacent to the shores of the turbulent Brahmaputra. Visit the Second world war Cemetery, State Museum, State Zoo & Srimanta Sankardeva Kalakshetra (A museum of Assam diverse culture) and Science Museum beside the temples. Overnight in Guwahati. 

DAY 8: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE

After Breakfast, return back to Guwahati Airport / Railway station for your departure. Your tour ends here with pleasant memories.
