Day 1: Arrive New Delhi

Welcome by our company representative at Indira Gandhi International airport, New Delhi in traditional way by garlanding and transfer by airconditioned vehicle to the pre-booked hotel for overnight stay..

Day 2: New Delhi - Leh (By air)

After early breakfast you will be transferred to the airport to board flight to Leh. On arrival at Leh airport, met and escorted to hotel for check in. Acclimatization at hotel, which is 3500 mtrs above sea level. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Leh - Shey - Thiksey - Hemis - Leh

After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis monastery. Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. Also visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock with formidable views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially famous for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk. Later drive through series of chortens to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Leh - Alchi - Uletokpo

After breakfast drive to Uletokpo camping which is one of the most beautiful camping in the Ladakh enroute visiting Spituk monastery. Proceed to Alchi monastery - the only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground. Reach Uletokpo by lunch. Evening time free at leisure to sit on the bank of river coming down from the Ridzong side. Overnight at the camp.

Day 5: Uletokpo - Lamayuru - Dahanu Aryans

After breakfast drive to Lamayuru enroute visiting Khaltsi. Visit the oldest and spectacularly set Lamayuru monastery was founded in the 10th Century. Continue your journey to Dhahanu Aryans place where you will see number of villages and the climate is bit warmer than Leh. The community of Dhahanu is believed to be the last race of Aryans, confined to the valley with their pure Aryan features. Overnight at the camp.

Day 6: Dahanu - Likir - Leh

After breakfast walk around Dhahanu village & later drive to Leh enroute visiting Likir to visit Likir Monastery - famous for its huge sitting Buddha statue. It's one of the best maintained monasteries in Ladakh. This magnificent monastery stands on a small hillock in the valley. Under the supervision of Lhachen Gyalpo, the fifth king of Ladakh, Lama Duwang Chosje founded this monastery in 1065. The monastery is known for housing a 23 m high gilded gold statue of Maitreya Buddha. Drive to Leh for overnight stay.

Day 7: Leh - Khardungla pass - Nubra Valley

Enjoy delicious breakfast at the hotel and drive to enchanting Nubra valley via Khardungla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world. 5600 mtrs above the sea level and has been recorded in the Guinness book of world records. Nubra Valley is also known as the Orchard of Ladakh and was originally called Ldumra which means the valley of flowers and also charismatic white sands, the snow caps, the green tumbling villages, the murmuring rivers, families of yaks and camels, the apricot orchards. Overnight camp at Nubra Valley.

Day 8: Nubra Valley - Diskit - Leh

After breakfast visit the surroundings of Nubra Valley and later continue your journey to Leh enroute visiting Diskit Monastery which belongs to the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) section of Tibetan Buddhism. It was founded by Changzem Tserab Zangpo, a disciple of Tsong Khapa, founder of Gelugpa, in the 14th century. On arrival check into the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9: Leh - Pangong Lake

After early Breakfast drive to Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. - the third highest motorable road in the world. After crossing the pass halt for lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to Lukung at the western shore of the lake and drive along the Pangong Lake upto Spangmik (8 kms) the last point allowed for tourists. This famous Lake of Pangong is 5-6 kms wide and over 144 kms long. Pangong Lake is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the banks while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Overnight stay at deluxe camp.

Day 10: Pangong - Tso Moriri

After breakfast drive to Tso Moriri Lake. Situated at an altitude of 15,000 ft above the sea level, the lake is well known for the bulky flocks of kiang, or natural asses, which crop on its shoreline. One can also get a glimpse of groups of travelling nangpa or bar-headed birds, along with sporadic flocks of pashmina goats. On arrival check into the camp, evening at leisure. Overnight at the camp.

Day 11: Tso Moriri - Leh

Morning enjoy a walk around the lake to witness the beauty of Lake and Changing colours. Return to camp for breakfast and proceed your drive towards Leh. Evening at leisure or stroll around Leh bazaar. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Leh - New Delhi - Onward destination

After breakfast on time transfer to Leh airport to board the flight to New Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, transfer to the hotel. Enjoy a short sightseeing of Delhi or time free for last minute packaging/own activities. Evening on time transfer to the international airport to board flight to sweet home/onward destination.
