Day 1: Arrive New Delhi
Arrive at Indira Gandhi international aiport, New Delhi. On arrival welcome by our representative and transfer to the hotel for overnight stay to relax from jetlag.
Day 2: New Delhi
After breakfast meet your expert guide in the hotel lobby and proceed for full day sightseeing of Delhi visiting Red fort, Jama Masjid, Rajghat - cremation ground of Mahatama Gandhi, humayun's tomb, India gate and Qutab Minar. Enjoy a drive past Rashtrapati Bhawan (President's house) and Sansad Bhawan (Parliament house). Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: New Delhi - Ahmedabad
After breakfast on time transfer to the airport to board flight to Ahmedabad. Arrive at Ahmedabad airport where our designated representative will welcome you and take you to The House of Mangaldas, a renowned heritage hotel located in the heart of Ahmedabad.
Day 4: Ahmedabad - Lothal - Velavadar
Enjoy early morning trip to Velavadar via Lothal, a 4500 year old Harrapan archaeological site situated in the Indus Valley. On arrival at Velavadar, you will be transferred to The Black Buck Lodge, an ideal wildlife enthusiast's getaway. Spend your afternoon feasting on authentic Gujarati cuisines.
Day 5: Velavadar - Bhavnagar
As the next morning blooms, drive to explore the magnificently sculptured Palitana temples, located atop the Sahatrunjaya Hills. Regarded as the most sacred pilgrimage place (Tirtha) by the Jain community, the hill is crowned by 863 temples, with each rivialing the other for its beauty and brilliance. The peak of these hills is a strenuous 3 km climb with over 3500 steps leading from the town. In spite of the ardous climb, thousands of tourists from across the world come here to see the sun rise from behind the temples in full glory. Once you've been mesmerised by the beauty and sanctity of this place, you can drive back to your hotel at Bhavnagar and spoil yourself with a full body massage waiting especially for you.
Day 6: Bhavnagar - Diu
After breakfast set forth to witness the beautiful Portuguese beach town of Diu. Check in and enjoy a quiet lunch at the nice beach resort.
Day 7: Diu
Lose yourself in the sun, sand and sea as you enjoy a walk along the shore at the Nagoya Beach. Even set your pulses racing as you indulge in an array of water sports at the tranquil Horseshoe Beach. Then, proceed on a city tour to visit well known sites like St. Paul's Church, Diu Museum and the Diu Fort.
Day 8: Diu – Sasan Gir
After breakfast drive to Sasan Gir National Park. After check-in and lunch at the camp proceed for jeep safari into Gir National Park. Gir is more than just a national park. It is home of the king of beasts-the endangered Asiatic Lions. Spend your day spotting other rare animals like leopards, chitals, sambars, nilgai, chausinghas, grey langurs, hyenas, painted sandgrouse, peacocks and paradise flycatchers during the afternoon safari. There's Kamleshwar dam reservoir too. Situated in the reserve, this reservoir has one of the largest marsh crocodile populations in the world.
Day 9: Sasan Gir National Park
Enjoy morning and evening safari at Gir National Park. Back at the Camp in the evening discover rich culture as traditional artists and performers make your evening special with their performances. Join in as the Negroid Siddhi Community enthrals you with their Siddhi Dhamaal Dance.
Day 10: Sasan Gir - Somnath – Junagarh - Gondal
After breakfast drive to somnath temples. After visit to to the temples we proceed for Gondal through the vibrant city of Junagadh. Travel back in time as you journey through historic landmarks like the Uparkot Fort, Buddhist cave-sites, Palace Museum, 18th & 19th century royal mausoleum complexes and the Girnar temples. Another must see attraction here is the 1748 AD Naulakha Palace and the Vintage and Classic car museum.
Day 11: Gondal – Mandvi
After breakfast drive to Mandvi. Check-into the beach camp. Enjoy the day at leisure at the private beach and visit the Palace. Dinner at Private beach. Overnight at camp.
Day 12: Mandvi – Bhuj
Continue your quest to discover Gujarat as you head to Bhuj the next morning. Stop over at Bhuj to witness famous museums and palaces.
Day 13: Bhuj - Rann of Kutch - Bhuj
After breakfast enjoy a day long excursions to the Rann of Kutch. Visit famous Banni Villages, another famous attraction. Nestled in the White Rann, these Banni areas are known for their intricate traditional embroideries and their elegant mud work. Other places featured in the itinerary include the textile towns of Nirona and Sumarsar etc. Return back to Bhuj for overnight stay.
Day 14: Bhuj – Little Rann of Kutch ( Dasada)
After breakfast drive to Dasada, popularly known as little Rann of Kutch. Check-into the camp. Evening at leisure and overnight stay at camp.
Day 15: Dasada
Set on morning safari in the Little Rann of Kutch to spot the endangered Asiatic wild ass. Then watch the sun set behind the lake in company of the other visitors the flamingos, pelicans, cranes and other rare migratory birds.
Day 16: Dasada – Modhera – Patan - Ahmedabad
After breakfast start your journey to Ahmedabad. On the final day of the tour, time travel to the 11th century as you set on an excursion to explore the Sun Temple at Modhera. The temple has been designed in such a way that the Sun's rays illuminate the sanctum at dawn, during the time of the equinoxes. We can also add visit to Patan the old capital of Gujarat and famous for the step well called Rani Ki Vav and also for patola weaving double Ikkat work. Here Lunch can be arranged at the house of the patola weaver and they are national award winner. After the excursion, drive back to Ahmedabad. On arrival check-into the hotel for overnight stay. Overnight at hotel.
Day 17: Ahmedabad - New Delhi - Onward destination
After breakfast on time transfer to the airport to board flight to New Delhi. On arrival check-into the hotel for wash & change and last minute packaging. Evening on time transfer to the international airport to board flight to onward destination/sweet home.
